Update on Trash Pickup:
Thursday Services – We will be out and attempting services on Thursday, January 28th. Keep in mind many secondary and neighborhood roads are still in poor condition. If our large trash and recycling trucks are unable to maneuver around safely, services will not be provided. Your safety, as well as our safety, is our top priority. If services are not provided, please bring your items back to your home. Service will resume on your next scheduled collection day. As a reminder, your TRASH service will resume on your next scheduled trash collection day. Your RECYCLING service will resume on your next scheduled recycling collection day. Please be assured we will collect any accumulated material when we return.
Please visit us on our website at www.americandisposal.com for up to the minute updates on delays and/or cancellations of service.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
American Disposal Services, Inc.

1/26 – Update on Snow Clearing:

Good morning:

Please remember that when cleaning your vehicles do not dump the snow in the road. This is causing a large mound to build in the road that the plow drivers cannot push, especially if there are cars parked in those spaces as the snow will fall and potentially damage the vehicles. The contractors are working diligently to get every road open but they need the cooperation from the residents.

All the roads are now open, with the exception of Alberta. The contractor came last night and treated the roads and will treat them again this evening to help expedite the melting on the roads. We will continue to send updates as they are received.

1/25 – 5pm – New Update:
The plows were through the community today and were able to open all but two of the streets. They were not able to access Alberta Ter and part of Forum Ter due to vehicles being parked in the street. Please move your vehicles that are parked in the street and blocking the plows. They will be back again tomorrow afternoon in another attempt to clear those streets. As a reminder please do not clean your vehicles off and then dump the snow in the street. This will create issues for residents as they attempt driving on the roads.
We appreciate your cooperation.

1/25 – 2pm:
We have three plows in the community working now and VDOT appears to have a bobcat working on Jacqueline. There is no word on when they will plow Eden.
The contractor will continue to work to clear our streets.
Clean up after this storm is likely to take several days. Please remember when you clean off your car to not put the snow back into the streets if they have been plowed. Please make sure to park to allow plow trucks access down the streets as well.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation while we deal with this storm.
